The SHAPE Sony FX9 V-Lock Quick Release Baseplate (FX9BP) is a support system for the Sony FX9 camera. Constructed from durable CNC-machined aluminum, it ensures both strength and lightness. The baseplate features a V-Lock quick release mechanism, facilitating swift transitions between shoulder and tripod setups. Its design includes a 3.5” adjustable slot, allowing for optimal camera balance. Integrated 15mm LWS rod clamps at the front and rear accommodate the included 8” and 4” rods, supporting various accessories. Two ARRI-compatible rosettes with M6 threading enable secure attachment of handles or other rosette-based components. The slip-free gel shoulder pad enhances comfort during handheld shooting, and protective rubber pads on top prevent camera scratches and twisting. Additionally, the baseplate is equipped with 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 threaded holes for accessory mounting, and a rear insert plate provides essential support for the camera body. This baseplate is compatible with most VCT tripod plates, offering versatility for professional videographers.

The SHAPE V-Lock Quick Release Baseplate is a long format baseplate and it can be used shoulder mounted, tripod mounted, and attached to V-lock tripod adapters. The baseplate includes a removable shoulder pad and features rosette adapters for ARRI standard handles. It has 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 tripod mount threads and a V-lock delta adapter for attaching SHAPE VCT Tripod Plate (VCTSH) or any VCT-14 tripod plate.
