Teradek Bolt 6 XT 1500 RX is a professional zero-delay wireless video receiver for multi-camera sets, OB vans and studio floors. Operating in the uncongested 6 GHz band with fallback to 5 GHz, it receives visually lossless DCI 4K60 10-bit 4:2:2 HDR and outputs over 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0. The 1500 ft line-of-sight range (≈457 m) keeps roaming and handheld units fully synced across large stages and arenas while preserving timecode and start/stop flags.
The receiver pairs with Bolt 6 and Bolt 4K transmitters (6 GHz requires Bolt 6) and supports up to six receivers per transmitter in Unicast. Link negotiation, adaptive modulation and robust noise rejection maintain signal integrity in dense RF environments. Management via Bolt Manager and the iOS/Android app adds spectrum analysis, manual channel selection and remote configuration over Bluetooth for fast frequency planning on location.
Connectivity includes 1× 12G-SDI and 1× HDMI 2.0 outputs with 2-ch 24-bit/48 kHz embedded audio, plus a locking 2-pin DC input (6–28 V DC, ≈18 W). A 5-pin control port enables optional camera control workflows, and the SDI Eye Pattern tool verifies cable health. The unit features five external RP-SMA antennas, ¼-20 and 3⁄8-16 mounts, a readable OLED, and a milled-aluminium chassis (139 × 112 × 27 mm; 430 g).
Security and reliability are production-grade: AES-256 content encryption with RSA-1024 key pairing, Rec.2020 HDR support, output scaling and 17×17×17 LUT processing for on-set looks. Bolt 6’s 6 GHz operation (where permitted) cuts through Wi-Fi congestion, and cross-compatibility with Bolt 4K safeguards existing fleets. For broadcast, live streaming and narrative work, Bolt 6 XT 1500 RX delivers uncompromised monitoring without cables.
