Teradek Bolt 6 XT 750 RX is a zero-delay wireless video receiver for on-set monitoring, live production and broadcast control rooms. It accepts transmissions from Bolt 6 (6 GHz + 5 GHz) and is backward compatible with Bolt 4K on 5 GHz, delivering up to DCI 4K60 10-bit 4:2:2 HDR with visually lossless quality. Output over 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0, with embedded 2-channel 48 kHz/24-bit audio.
Line-of-sight range is 750 ft / 228.6 m, sustained by five external RP-SMA antennas and robust channel bandwidth control (20/40 MHz). The 6 GHz band reduces congestion from Wi-Fi traffic while maintaining sub-1 ms end-to-end latency for focus-critical work. Secure links use AES-256 encryption with RSA-1024 key pairing, with passthrough of timecode and start/stop flags. One transmitter can multicast to up to six receivers for village, DIT cart and director monitors. Supported formats include DCI/UHD 4K to 60p, 1080p/i and 720p, with 10-bit 4:4:4/4:2:2 on HDMI and 10-bit 4:2:2 on SDI. Selectable 5/6 GHz bands (UNII-5/8) with DFS and adjustable channel width.
The receiver provides an SDI eye-pattern tool for cable integrity checks, on-device OSD with joystick navigation, and configuration via Bluetooth using the Bolt App (iOS/Android) or desktop Bolt Manager, including spectrum analysis and manual channel selection. Camera control is available via the locking 5-pin LEMO CCU port (optional license). Power is 6–28 VDC on 2-pin LEMO with ~18 W draw.
Built for set reliability, the Bolt 6 XT 750 RX uses a milled aluminum chassis (139 × 112 × 27 mm, 430 g) with multiple 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 mounts. Connectivity includes 1× 12G-SDI out, 1× HDMI 2.0 out, USB-C for firmware, and five included 2 dBi antennas. The platform supports Rec.2020 HDR, LUT-friendly 10-bit pipelines, scaling on output, and noise-rejection algorithms that coexist with surrounding RF systems—fit for complex multi-camera workflows.
