Teradek Bolt 6 XT MAX TX/RX Set Gold-Mount delivers zero-delay (<1 ms) 4K wireless monitoring over 6 GHz + 5 GHz. Both units carry 12G-SDI and HDMI with HDR 10-bit 4:2:2 and AES-256 + RSA-1024 link security. MAX radios reach 5000 ft (1524 m) line-of-sight; an optional Array Antenna concentrates RF for crowded venues. Gold-Mount plates with pass-through keep rigs compact, while 2-pin DC (6–28 V) accepts common on-set power. Pair and manage via the Bolt Manager app (Bluetooth LE), run a spectrum scan, and use the OLED for channel and pairing control. The app also manages LUT output.
The TX ingests up to DCI/UHD 4K60 on 12G-SDI or HDMI; the RX outputs the same over 12G-SDI/HDMI with timecode and metadata carriage. MAX supports Broadcast Mode, raising receiver counts beyond the standard six for multi-monitor distribution. Inter-series compatibility links with Bolt 4K and Bolt 6 (range limited by the shortest unit), easing rental swaps and mixed fleets. An SDI eye-pattern tool checks cable integrity; long-range mode stabilizes picture at the edge of coverage without adding frames.
Hardware is field-ready: replaceable antennas, quiet thermals, and a rugged chassis with locking power. RF channels include U-NII-5 where permitted, reducing interference near Wi-Fi and intercom.
