Teradek RT FIZ Kit (CTRL.3, MDR.S, MOTR.S) delivers precise wireless lens control of focus, iris and zoom. The CTRL.3 handset communicates via 2.4 GHz FHSS with line-of-sight reach up to 5000 ft (1524 m) and ≈2 ms command latency. Six mappable axes—knob, slider, zoom rocker and dual X/Y rollers—serve complex rigs. Lens mapping in metric/imperial plus SmallHD overlays put distance and T-stops on-screen. Power from LP-E6 or USB (≈6.2–8.4 V / 4.75–9 V). Mounting includes 4×1/4-20 and an ARRI rosette.

The compact MDR.S receiver drives three channels with on-unit OLED navigation and Bluetooth access via the RT iOS app. Frequency-hopping spread spectrum maintains robust links. Power input is 5–28 V over 3-pin LEMO; motor I/O is 0B-4 daisy-chain. A 1/4-20 mount and a 57.9×42×24 mm footprint keep weight to 68–72 g, ideal for gimbals and handheld builds. Camera run/stop for ARRI, RED, Sony, Phantom and LANC is supported through control ports.

MOTR.S couples a 0.8 MOD gear to peak torque of 0.95 Nm (0.3 Nm continuous) with speed up to 297 teeth/sec max. The 15/19 mm rod clamp and chainable connectors streamline wiring. Electrical specs—7–32 V input, 0.1 A idle and 2.5 A peak—fit cine workflows. Operating window 0 °C to 50 °C and 184 g mass suit cold-start days and hot studios. The Teradek RT link budget stays stable indoors ~500 ft (152 m).
