VELVET EVO 2 IP54 V2 is a fanless RGBWW soft LED panel built for location, OB and studio crews working in rain, spray and dust. The light engine combines R+G+B+W+CW with continuous 2500–10000 K tuning and stepless green–magenta offset, supporting fast camera matching and consistent white balance across mixed fixtures. Colour accuracy is specified at TLCI 96 (3200 K) and TLCI 97 (5600 K) for dependable skin tones and product colour.
Output is smoothly variable 0–100% and flicker-free for high-speed capture up to 2000 fps. A wide 115° beam keeps the source genuinely soft for interviews, tabletop, car interiors, ENG stand-ups and walk-and-talk coverage. The sealed housing is rated IP54 and specified for operation from -20 °C to +40 °C. Passive cooling keeps audio stages silent and avoids fan service cycles in rental and broadcast inventories.
Control integrates into professional lighting networks: local control via rugged keys and colour display, wired DMX/RDM over XLR-5, and wireless LumenRadio CRMX plus Wi-Fi Art-Net and Bluetooth with the VELVET Goya app. Work in CCT, HSI, RGB, Gel and Effects modes; Kelvin white can be combined with colour for practical-style tints, cue lights and on-camera ambience changes.
Power draw is 225 W. The fixture runs from 24–35 V DC via XLR-3 for battery carts and mobile distribution, or from mains through the included PSU (universal 90–264 V AC) and locking Neutrik PowerCON TRUE1 TOP. The VE2CIP54-PACK includes the EVO 2 Colour IP54 fixture, mounting bracket, 28/16 mm combo pin, PSU and a 3.5 m Schuko cable; optional V-Lock / Gold Mount plates enable cable-free rigs while keeping full output. Multiple 1/4"-20 rigging points support clamps and compact mounts for streaming sets, exterior night work and fast-moving documentary crews.
