VELVET EVO 2x2 Studio is a colour LED panel built around a large 2×2 soft aperture for studio grids, rental inventory and mobile interview kits. The optical diffuser and wide 115° beam deliver an even field for close key, broad fill or overhead top-light, while the chassis runs totally silent thanks to fan-free passive cooling.
The light engine combines R+G+B+W+CW emitters for full-spectrum mixing and repeatable whites. Correlated colour temperature is continuously variable from 2500 K to 10000 K, with continuous green–magenta trim for matching mixed sources and camera matrices. Colour fidelity is specified at CRI 96 with TLCI 96 (3200 K) / 97 (5600 K). Modes include CCT, HSI, RGB, Gels and Effects, and the base Kelvin white can be combined with any hue. Output is dimmable 0–100% with smooth, flicker-free response, and the specified output frequency of 2000 fps keeps high-speed capture clean.
Workflow integration targets professional control ecosystems: on-board operation uses a colour display with eight shock-resistant keys plus quick access for 3200 K and 5600 K. Console and network control are available via DMX-RDM on XLR-5 in/thru for daisy-chaining, plus Ethernet Art-Net through RJ-45. Wireless options include Wi-Fi Art-Net, Bluetooth and the VELVET GOYA app for fixture grouping and scene recall; a mini-USB port supports service functions.
Power is handled by an integrated supply accepting 90–264 V AC (50/60 Hz) via Neutrik PowerCon TRUE1 TOP, with a specified draw of 403 W and an XLR-3 DC input connector for compatible external feeds. The sealed construction is rated IP51 dustproof for indoor use and protected outdoor environments, and operates from −20 °C to +40 °C. Photometrics reach 2405 lux at 3 m and 700 lux at 6 m, making the EVO 2x2 Studio a practical soft key for talk shows, chroma key stages, virtual production talent, tabletop product work and wide-area fill.
