VELVET Light 1 IP54 is a professional bi-color 1x1 LED soft panel for broadcast studios, mobile units and rental inventories that require a weatherproof key and fill source. The IP54 enclosure shields the electronics from rain and dust on outdoor sets, while the passive cooling and sealed aluminum body keep operation completely silent in sound-critical studios and streaming control rooms. With 100 W LED power, a 100° beam and integrated diffusion, the panel supplies a broad, uniform field that can act as a key on close talent, a wraparound fill on small groups or an ambient wash on backgrounds.
The fixture offers a 2700K–6500K variable white range in 100 K steps for accurate matching of tungsten fixtures, daylight and LED volumes. High CRI and TLCI values up to 96 maintain neutral colorimetry and natural skin tones on camera. At 5600K the VELVET Light 1 IP54 delivers 3520 lux at 1 metre and 461 lux at 3 metres, leaving headroom to work with additional softboxes, grids or diffusion without sacrificing exposure. Flicker-free output up to 2000 fps stabilizes light levels for high-speed sequences, slow-motion material and non-standard shutter angles in broadcast, sports and documentary workflows.
Onboard controls use shock-resistant buttons, a protected display and a dedicated 3200K/5600K quick access function for rapid switching between standard presets. For integration into lighting networks, the VELVET Light 1 IP54 provides DMX/RDM via 5-pin XLR in/out with an internal splitter so a single run can feed multiple fixtures in studio grids, news decks or fly-packs. Power options cover 90–264 V AC mains and 12–35 V DC from V-Lock or Gold mount batteries, allowing the same panel to move from fixed installations to stand-mounted or rigged use on location. Long-life LEDs rated beyond 50,000 hours and maintenance-free construction reduce service visits for broadcasters, production companies and system integrators who need a robust IP54 soft panel with predictable photometrics in daily operation.
