VELVET Light 1 IP54 Pack is a weatherproof bi-color LED soft panel for crews that require stable broadcast white light on location. The sealed IP54 housing and all-aluminum chassis protect the electronics against rain, dust and impact, keeping the fixture reliable as key, fill or backlight for outdoor interviews, ENG, reality TV, sports tunnels, event coverage and mobile streaming units.

The panel delivers a wide soft field with a 100° beam and photometric output of 3520 lux at 1 m (5600 K), giving usable punch without harsh shadows. The variable 2700–6500 K range is adjustable in 100 K steps, with CRI/TLCI values up to 96 so skin tones, wardrobe and set colours hold hue across multi-camera setups. Output is continuously controllable from 0 to 100% with flicker-free behaviour to 2000 fps, suitable for high-speed replays, beauty shots, tabletop work and SFX plates.

Local control uses a high-visibility display, robust buttons and a dedicated 3200 K / 5600 K access key for rapid shifts between tungsten and daylight bases in live situations. For system workflows, the VELVET Light 1 IP54 Pack offers bi-directional DMX/RDM through 5-pin XLR plus a Neutrik XLR-3 DC input. The fixture runs from 90–264 V AC mains or 12–35 V V-Lock / Gold mount batteries, so the same unit can live in a studio grid, travel on a stand in the rain or operate from battery on remote locations.

Fanless passive cooling keeps operation silent, which protects dialogue when lights sit close to booms, lavaliers or camera-mounted mics. Stable colour calibration and consistent output from unit to unit simplify matching with other VELVET panels in larger rigs.
