VELVET Light 2 Studio Bi-Color LED Panel

VELVET Light 2 Studio is a professional 2x1 bi-color LED soft panel for broadcast studios, virtual sets, streaming stages and rental fleets that need a robust, portable fixture with repeatable photometrics. Its 160 W engine outputs up to 6090 lux at 1 m (5600 K) through a 100° beam, generating a wide, even field that reads cleanly on sensors without hotspots or color shift across the surface. The native softness removes the need for bulky diffusion frames when lighting news desks, magazine shows or corporate talking heads in tight environments.

The LED engine delivers a calibrated CCT range from 2700 K to 6500 K in fine 100 K steps with CRI/TLCI 96, keeping skin tones neutral while matching tungsten, daylight or mixed sources on set. Fully flicker-free dimming from 0–100 % is maintained up to 2000 fps, making the panel suitable for high-speed commercials, tabletop work and sports studio stings where shutter angles vary between cameras.

An IP51 dustproof, black anodized aluminum housing supports passive, fan-free cooling so the fixture stays silent on drama, live music, news and podcast sets where microphones sit close to the rig. Onboard control uses tactile shock-proof buttons and display, while 5-pin DMX/RDM with XLR in/out enables address, dimmer and CCT management from lighting consoles or integration into permanent TV galleries, corporate studios, education facilities and houses of worship. Local 3200 K / 5600 K shortcuts allow quick switching between presets during fast turnaround work.

Each VELVET Light 2 Studio kit (VL2ST-PACK) ships as a ready-to-deploy system for grid or stand mounting: panel with tubular yoke, 28/16 mm combo spigot and AC PSU with TRUE1 mains cable. Optional Snapgrid, Snapbag, barndoors, pole-operated yoke and flight cases allow the panel to be configured as a key, fill or background source for magazines, chroma sets, ENG style multi-camera stages, live streaming platforms and hybrid events.
