VELVET Light 2 Studio Bi-Color LED Panel (No Yoke)

The VELVET Light 2 Studio is a high-output 160 W bi-color LED soft panel for professional studios needing stable white light on talent and sets. This no-yoke version fits easily into custom grids, pantographs and wall mounts while keeping the fixture compact around cameras. A sealed IP51 dustproof housing, passive convection cooling and full AC operation make it a dependable choice for television, live streaming, news and corporate studios.

The panel offers continuously variable 2700K–6500K CCT control in 100 K steps, covering tungsten through daylight with consistent color between fixtures. A wide 100° beam and optimized diffusion deliver an even soft source without hotspots, suitable as key or fill in multi-camera environments. High color fidelity with a TLCI of 92 at 3200K and 95 at 5600K maintains accurate skin tones. At 5600K the fixture outputs approximately 6090 lux at 1 m and 798 lux at 3 m, with stable output over time thanks to long-life LEDs rated beyond 50,000 hours (L70).

Lighting control is available locally or from a console. On-board controls provide smooth 0–100% dimming and CCT adjustment without stepping or visible flicker. For integrated systems, the DMX-RDM control interface with 5-pin XLR In and Out supports remote configuration and linking of multiple units. An output frequency specified for use up to 2000 fps keeps the panel flicker-free for high-speed cameras and demanding broadcast shutter settings.

Built on a rigid black anodized aluminum chassis with VELVET’s proprietary LED engine and optic diffuser, the VELVET Light 2 Studio tolerates intensive operation from −20°C to +40°C with no fan noise, ideal for audio-sensitive sets and control rooms. Optional yokes, multi-panel frames, Snapgrid, barndoors and transport cases allow the fixture to serve as a primary studio LED panel for broadcast studios, green-screen stages, virtual production sets and fixed-installation streaming spaces that need reliable, color-accurate soft light.
