VELVET Mini 2 IP54 VM2IP54NY is a panoramic bi-color soft LED panel for professional broadcast, studio and on-location work where consistent white light and weather resistance are critical. With a variable correlated color temperature from 2700K to 6500K in precise 100K steps and a TLCI of 97 at 3200K and 98 at 5600K, it delivers accurate skin tones and neutral backgrounds without green shift, even when mixed with other fixtures on multi-camera sets.

Rated at 100W with a wide 100° beam, the VELVET Mini 2 IP54 outputs 2400 lux at 1 metre and 330 lux at 3 metres, providing an even, wraparound source that is especially effective in small studios, low-ceiling control rooms and tight locations in OB vans or corporate environments. Fully flicker-free up to 2000 fps, it can be used confidently for high-speed acquisition, sports promos or tabletop work where shutter angles and frame rates vary between cameras.

Local control uses shock-resistant keys, a clear digital display and dedicated shortcuts for instant recall of 3200K and 5600K, while integrated DMX-RDM over 5-pin XLR offers remote intensity and CCT management inside lighting networks. Power is supplied either from 90–264 VAC via a smart AC adapter or from 12–35 VDC through the locking 3-pin XLR input. A rear docking plate accepts optional V-mount or Gold-mount battery plates or locks the AC adapter directly to the fixture to keep compact rigs tidy on set, whether for mobile streaming kits or fixed studio configurations.

The fanless passive cooling and all-aluminium IP54 housing make the VELVET Mini 2 IP54 suitable for daily field use in rain, dust and temperature extremes from −20°C to +40°C. Long-life LEDs rated beyond 50 000 hours minimise maintenance for rental houses and fixed installations, while multiple mounting threads on the panel sides accept optional yokes, baby pins and grip accessories to adapt the fixture to studio grids, boom arms, interview kits or compact live-streaming setups.
