VELVET Light 2x2 Studio is a professional bi-colour LED soft panel for broadcast grids, virtual production stages and multi-camera streaming sets that require consistent white light and networkable control. The square 2x2 panel outputs a wide 100° beam of naturally diffused light, making it efficient as a key, fill or large overhead source while keeping contrast gentle on skin and wardrobe on camera.
The fixture offers a variable white range from 2700K to 6500K in precise 100K steps with high colour accuracy, delivering TLCI values of 92 at 3200K and 95 at 5600K for reliable matching to tungsten, daylight and LED walls. Light output reaches 11,570 lux at 1 metre, 1,516 lux at 3 metres and 475 lux at 6 metres, with smooth 0–100% dimming and an output frequency rated for flicker-free performance at up to 2000 fps, ideal for high-speed promos, sports inserts and slow-motion elements.
For control, the VELVET Light 2x2 Studio integrates robust on-board electronics with shock-resistant buttons, a clear status display and full DMX-RDM control via 5-pin XLR In & Out. Power draw is a manageable 310 W from the internal multi-voltage supply, which accepts 90–264 V AC 50/60 Hz or 26–28 V DC, allowing the panel to sit permanently in a studio grid, run from mobile dimmer racks or operate on location from DC systems. Passive, fan-free cooling ensures absolutely silent operation, critical for dialogue-heavy TV studios, live streaming control rooms and OB vans.
The IP51 rating and all-aluminium housing give the panel the durability needed for daily studio use and rental environments while remaining relatively lightweight for rigging on yokes, ball heads or multipanel frames. Optional accessories such as foldable Snapbags, Snapgrids, barndoors and remote controllers turn the VELVET Light 2x2 Studio into a flexible tool for lighting news sets, talk shows, e-sports arenas, corporate studios, chroma key stages and drama sets where repeatable, colour-stable soft light is essential.
