The VELVET Light 4 Studio bi-color LED panel is a panoramic soft source for broadcast studios and fixed installations that need reliable white light and silent operation. Its low-carbon aluminium body with IP51 dustproof protection and fanless passive cooling keeps the fixture quiet and stable from -20 °C to +40 °C, ideal for newsrooms, virtual production stages and corporate streaming sets where audio sensitivity is high.
The integrated LED engine combines a native 100° beam angle with a wide, uniform emitting surface to deliver a smooth field without hotspots. A calibrated 2700K–6500K range in 100 K increments allows matching tungsten or daylight sources and fine-tuning ambience on camera, while TLCI values around 95 ensure accurate skin tones and consistent brand colours. The driver operates flicker-free over the full 0–100 % dimming curve and is specified for high-speed capture up to 2000 fps. At 5600K the panel outputs approximately 11 267 lux at 1 m, 1476 lux at 3 m and 463 lux at 6 m, giving ample level for key, fill, rim or background wash in multi-camera studios.
Control and connectivity match professional lighting infrastructures. Onboard operation uses a clear numeric display, shock-resistant keys and a dedicated 3200K / 5600K quick-access button for fast recall of standard presets. For console-driven rigs, DMX/RDM control via 5-pin XLR in/out integrates the VELVET Light 4 Studio into existing networks for remote configuration. Optional yokes, pole-operated brackets, ball heads, Snapgrid eggcrates, barndoors and transport cases allow the fixture to be rigged as a horizontal key, top soft source or controlled strip light on green screens, cycloramas and set pieces for television, live video and streaming workflows.
