VELVET Power 2 IP54 Spot 15° Bi-Color LED Panel (No Yoke)

VELVET Power 2 IP54 Spot 15° is a weatherproof bi-color LED panel that concentrates output into a narrow 15° spot beam for long-throw key, rim and texture lighting on film sets, broadcast studios and live streaming stages. The CCT range spans 2700–6500 K in 100 K steps, and the light engine combines selected-bin high-power LEDs, VELVET custom optics and CPU control for stable colour on camera (up to TLCI 98 at 3200 K and 96 at 5600 K).

Photometrics reach approximately 80,100 lux at 1 m (5600 K), plus 8,900 lux at 3 m and 2,540 lux at 6 m, giving practical punch for window pushes, backlight lines across truss, or controlled highlights on talent, cars and reflective products. A dedicated diffusion filter system can soften and widen coverage to roughly 30°–105°, enabling fast transitions between harder throw and broader, wrapped fill while keeping colourimetry consistent across setups.

Onboard control uses shock-resistant buttons, a status display, and instant recall of 3200 K / 5600 K. For infrastructure lighting, the panel supports DMX-RDM over XLR-5 for addressing, monitoring and console workflows, and it dims smoothly from 0–100% without stepping. The specified output frequency supports high-speed capture up to 2000 fps, helping avoid flicker in slow-motion work and in multi-camera environments.

At 190 W power draw, the fixture runs from 24–35 V DC via Neutrik XLR-3, with support for an optional V-Lock / Gold Mount battery plate, or from 90–264 V AC with the appropriate PSU/cabling. High-efficiency electronics maintain full output on batteries for mobile carts and remote stages. Passive, fan-free cooling keeps the unit silent and maintenance-free. The black powder-coated aluminium chassis and IP54 rating support location work from -20 °C to +40 °C, with an LED life rating of 50,000+ hours. This no yoke configuration ships as panel-only, so rigging and power accessories can be specified per workflow.
