VELVET Mini 1 IP54 is a compact 50W bi-color LED soft panel for studio, broadcast and streaming environments that need a wide, homogenous source in tight spaces. Its 100° beam produces natural, wraparound light for faces, while high CRI and TLCI values up to 98 preserve accurate colour reproduction across multi-camera workflows. Colour temperature is continuously variable from 2700K to 6500K in 100K steps, with stable, flicker-free output up to 2000 fps.
Local control uses shock-proof buttons and a clear display, including direct 3200K and 5600K presets for fast switching between tungsten and daylight looks. A universal 90–264 VAC Smart AC adapter and integrated V-mount battery plate support both fixed installations and mobile sets powered from standard broadcast batteries.
The weather-sealed IP54 housing protects against dust and rain, enabling use on exterior sets, live events and ENG work where fixtures are exposed to the elements. Passive cooling through an extruded low-carbon aluminium body keeps operation completely silent, so the panel can sit close to microphones in news, streaming or drama setups. LEDs are driven well within spec for a rated lifetime beyond 50,000 hours, maintaining output and colour stability over long production cycles.
The VM1IP54-PACK configuration supplied here includes the Mini 1 IP54 head, aluminium yoke with baby receiver and junior pin interface, a 65W Smart V-lock power supply and a Schuko mains cable. Rigging points along the panel edges support mounting on arms, rails or ceiling structures, while optional barn doors, SnapBag softbox and SnapGrid accessories refine beam shape and contrast for interview keys, soft backlight, fill or beauty lighting in professional video workflows.
