VELVET Start 2 Pack Bi-Color LED Panel

The VELVET Start 2 Pack bundles a bi-color LED soft panel with professional yoke, combo pin and AC cable, giving studios and rental houses a ready-to-rig key or fill source for broadcast, streaming and corporate video. At its core is the Start 2 dustproof panel with integrated AC power supply, IP41 sealing and passive cooling, so the fixture runs silently on news sets, virtual stages or training studios without fan noise in close microphones.

Using VELVET LED technology, the panel offers a continuously variable 3000–6000 K range in 100 K steps, with a TLCI / CRI in the 90+ for stable colour reproduction across multi-camera workflows. At 5600 K it delivers 4320 lux at 1 m with a wide 100° beam, producing an even soft field that wraps around presenters and products without hard shadow edges. Flicker-free dimming from 0–100% with an output frequency rated for 2000 fps keeps footage clean for high-frame-rate sports promos, slow-motion inserts and LED-wall prelighting, and the LED lifetime exceeds 50,000 hours for long-term studio deployment.

Local control gives operators fast access to intensity and CCT via shock-resistant keys and a clear display, useful in compact galleries or OB vans. The integrated DMX/RDM interface on 5-pin XLR supports remote addressing, monitoring and master–slave chaining, so several VELVET Start 2 Pack units can form a single soft bank above a news desk, talk-show couch or panel discussion table.

The pack combines the VS2STNYC panel, VP2-YT yoke, 28/16 mm combo pin and a 3.5 m powerCON TRUE1 Schuko cable, enabling straightforward mounting on stands, ceiling rails or truss systems. Optional SnapBag and SnapGrid softboxes, barndoors and transport cases turn the VELVET Start 2 Pack into a flexible tool for beauty lighting, green-screen keys, audience wash and live streaming rigs, while the efficient 100 W draw keeps power distribution simple on shared studio circuits.
