The VELVET Mini 2 Studio (MPN VM2ST-PACK) is a compact bi-color LED soft light panel for permanent studio grids and corporate video spaces where silent, reliable operation is critical. Its panoramic form factor with a 100° beam produces an even wash for news desks, virtual sets, streaming stages and background cycloramas, while the integrated AC PSU keeps installations tidy with minimal cabling in the grid.
With a 100 W LED engine delivering about 2400 lux at 1 m, the VELVET Mini 2 Studio offers solid output for key or fill on cameras running up to 2000 fps, thanks to flicker-free 0–100% dimming. The variable white engine covers 2700–6500 K in 100 K steps, with CRI/TLCI up to 98 for accurate skin tones and neutral whites on broadcast cameras. Quick-access buttons jump directly to 3200 K and 5600 K presets, helping crews match tungsten or daylight studio sources during live production.
The dust-protected IP51 aluminum housing is passively cooled and fully fanless, ideal for quiet control rooms, OB vans and voiceover booths. On-board control with shock-resistant keys and a clear display is paired with full DMX-RDM integration via 5-pin XLR in/out, plus daisy-chainable PowerCON TRUE1 AC in/out for efficient studio wiring. VELVET’s optical system combines selected BIN LEDs with a fixed diffuser to produce a soft wraparound “beauty” light that reduces shadows and avoids eye strain for on-air talent.
The standard VELVET Mini 2 Studio Pack includes a robust yoke with 16 mm baby receiver and 28 mm junior pin, spigot and mains cable, allowing direct mounting on stands or grids. Optional ecosystem accessories such as Snapgrid, Snapbag, barndoors and remote DMX controller extend beam shaping and control options, making the VM2ST-PACK a flexible choice for television studios, e-learning rooms, webcast facilities and rental houses focused on consistent, high-quality white light.
