ARRI SkyPanel X21 with the included X21 Dome is an all-weather 2:1 RGBACL LED panel rated IP66 for studio grids, OB trucks and location rigs. The full-spectrum engine spans 1,500–20,000 K and offers ARRI ALEXA Mode sensor matching, plus Source Matching, gels and precise CCT/HSI/RGB control for consistent colour with mixed practicals and LED volumes. Operation is specified from -20°C to +40°C, with passive + active cooling on a double heat-sink. Dimming is flicker-free with high-resolution control near black; High CRI VariFan reaches up to CRI 99 (min. 90) with TLCI 93 typical.

Maximum draw is 800 W, driving 4 light engines and up to 8 pixel zones for zoned cues and mapped accents. In native hard configuration the fixture reaches 4,800 lx at 10 m at 5,600 K; native open-face operation delivers up to 51,809 lm for bounce. Beam geometry stays predictable: approx. 107° with the Dome, approx. 121° open-face, and approx. 11° with an optional HyPer Optic for long throws and defined shadows.

Control integrates into professional lighting networks: DMX-512A with RDM, Ethernet Art-Net 4 and sACN, plus web control and discovery via mDNS/Bonjour, with PTP/NTP synchronization support. Wireless options include CRMX (Classic/CRMX2), W-DMX G3–G5, BLE and Bluetooth 5.0. Connections cover powerCON TRUE1 TOP AC in/through, 48 V DC input, 5-pin XLR DMX, dual RJ45 (EtherCON compatible), USB-C, and LEMO for the control panel.

The lamphead supports a removable ALL-WEATHER Control Panel (LiOS3), quick-release yokes and multi-unit arrays (up to three fixtures in one DMX profile). Built-in tools include 15 Pixel Macros and 15 effects for stage cues and repeatable streaming looks, while legacy DMX presets can mirror familiar SkyPanel S60-C modes. An optional S60 adapter accepts SkyPanel S60-C front accessories. Typical uses include interview keys, soft toplight, chroma-key fill and weather-resistant exterior work where network control matters as much as output.
