VELVET Mini Power 2 IP54 Pack is a compact panoramic bi-color LED panel for professional video, television and streaming sets where mounting depth is limited. The low-carbon aluminium chassis is IP54 rainproof for wet or dusty locations, and the thermal architecture uses fan-free passive cooling to stay silent on dialog. The light engine pairs selected BIN LEDs with an optic diffuser and CPU software control for stable output and consistent tint across the CCT range.
Colour temperature is adjustable from 2700K to 6500K in 100K steps, with quick access to 3200K / 5600K. Photometrics are specified at up to 8900 lux at 1 m and 1250 lux at 3 m with a 35° beam angle, which is practical for punchy keys, backlights and bounces in narrow rooms. Output is dimmable 0–100% with smooth, flicker-free behaviour for high-speed capture up to 2000 fps. Colour rendition is rated CRI 96 with TLCI 93 (3200K) / 96 (5600K) for clean skin tones on camera.
Control is available locally via shock-proof buttons and a digital display, or from a lighting console using DMX/RDM on XLR-5 (DMX input; In/Out available through a splitter). DC power lands on a locking Neutrik XLR-3 connector; power draw is 100 W. The docking plate accepts removable V-Mount (V-Lock) or Gold Mount battery plates and supports universal mains via a Smart AC adapter (90–264 V). Operating temperature is specified from -20°C to +40°C, and LED life is rated at 50,000 hours (L70).
The IP54 Pack ships as a ready-to-rig set with yoke and spigot plus a V-Lock adapter and cable, and multiple 1/4"-20 rigging points for clamps, car mounts or grid hanging. Typical deployments include rain-exposed interviews, ENG and documentary runs, compact TV studios, corporate streaming stages, tabletop product shoots, vehicle interiors and greenscreen key lighting. Dedicated diffusion, grids and barn doors remain available when tighter spill control or softer wrap is required.
