The VELVET Power 1 IP54 Spot 15° is a 1x1 bi-color LED panel built for long-throw applications in professional broadcast, streaming and location work. Its concentrated 15° spot beam produces approximately 6000 lux at 3 m and 1700 lux at 6 m at 5600K, allowing the fixture to operate as a compact alternative to small Fresnels for key, backlight or accent from high rigs, cranes and gantries. The weatherproof IP54 construction supports permanent outdoor use on OB vans, stadium positions and architectural mounts, as well as daily studio operation.

The calibrated engine of the VELVET Power 1 IP54 Spot 15° covers a continuous 2700K–6500K range in 100K steps, with TLCI 98 at 3200K and 96 at 5600K for stable colour reproduction on modern cinema and broadcast cameras. Selected-bin LEDs, custom optics and internal processing maintain consistent chromaticity between units, which is essential when mixing several panels across a news set or multi-camera talk show. 0–100% flicker-free dimming runs at a high 2000 fps output frequency, avoiding banding in high-frame-rate capture and providing smooth transitions for live fades under console control.

The rugged aluminum body of this IP54 weatherproof LED panel is passively cooled, so operation is completely fanless and silent, an advantage on drama stages, corporate studios and streaming sets with open microphones. The light draws only 100 W yet delivers a strong, punchy beam; more than 50,000 hours LED life supports intensive usage in rental fleets and fixed installations. Power options cover 90–264 V AC mains and 12–35 V DC via XLR-3, with compatibility for V-Lock and Gold Mount battery plates, enabling mobile operation for ENG, documentary and run-and-gun crews.

Control is available locally through shock-resistant buttons and a clear display or remotely via DMX/RDM with 5-pin XLR in/out, making the VELVET Power 1 IP54 Spot 15° easy to integrate into theatre, live event and studio lighting networks. The native 15° beam can be adapted with diffusion filters and softboxes to reach angles up to roughly 105°, so one head can function as a tight kicker, background special or soft key depending on the front accessory.
