VELVET Power 2 IP54 Flood 30° Bi-Color LED Panel (No Yoke)

VELVET Power 2 IP54 Flood 30° is a weatherproof bi-color LED panel for professional sets where output, control and noise discipline matter. The native 30° flood beam keeps spill contained for interview keys, rim light, background separation and controlled “window push” work in rain or spray. Colour temperature is adjustable from 2700–6500 K in 100 K steps, and the light engine uses binned high-power LEDs, VELVET custom optics and CPU control to hold CCT stability during fades. A fan-free thermal design keeps the unit quiet in dialogue scenes and broadcast stages.

At 5600 K the fixture is specified at 44,550 lux at 1 m (without reflector), with 4,950 lux at 3 m and 1,330 lux at 6 m. This suits studio grids, truss-mounted live-event rigs and exterior setups where the panel must stay off-frame yet still read as a key. High-efficiency electronics keep output consistent on battery power. Optional diffusion filters D25, D50, D100 and DVELVET broaden coverage from the nominal beam to approximately 45°, 60°, 105° or 115° for green screen, tabletop and softer fill through textiles.

Colour performance is specified for capture, reaching TLCI 98 at 3200 K and 96 at 5600 K. Onboard control uses a display with shock-resistant keys, instant recall for 3200 K / 5600 K, and smooth 0–100% dimming without visible stepping. For studios and OB workflows, DMX-RDM over XLR-5 (in/out) supports addressing, status feedback and daisy-chaining, while the specified output frequency enables flicker-free shooting up to 2000 fps.

Power draw is 190 W. The panel operates from 24–35 V DC via Neutrik XLR-3, with support for optional V-Lock or Gold Mount battery plates, or from 90–264 V AC using the appropriate PSU/cabling. Passive cooling keeps the fixture silent and avoids fan maintenance. The IP54 housing is rated from -20 °C to +40 °C, and this no yoke configuration ships as panel-only for custom rigging in studios, rental inventory or integrated broadcast installs.
