The VELVET Power 1 Studio Spot 15° is a 100 W bi-color LED panel for long-throw key, backlight and effect roles in broadcast studios, streaming stages and corporate video rooms. Its 15° spot optics focus the output into a tight beam delivering 6000 lux at 3 m and 1700 lux at 6 m, suitable for talent lighting from elevated grids, shaping accents on scenery or cutting through LED walls without spill on the surrounding set.
The fixture spans a variable white range from 2700K to 6500K in 100 K increments, with TLCI values of 98 at 3200K and 96 at 5600K for stable colour rendition in multicamera workflows. Smooth 0–100% dimming and a high-frequency driver rated flicker-free up to 2000 fps maintain consistent exposure with high-speed cameras, sports replay units and slow-motion shots. Diffusion accessories widen the beam from 15° up to 30°–105°, turning the punchy source into a controlled fill for talk shows, panel programmes, virtual production stages and product tables.
The Power 1 Studio Spot 15° relies on an IP51 dustproof housing and a rigid aluminium body with passive heat dissipation, delivering silent, fanless operation in news and drama studios and webcast rooms where microphones sit close to the fixtures. An internal 90–264 V AC supply with Neutrik XLR-3 DC input removes external power bricks in studio grids and OB vans, while the LED engine is rated for more than 50,000 hours of use within a -20°C to +40°C environment to support intensive schedules.
Control facilities combine shock-resistant local buttons and a numeric display with full DMX-RDM connectivity via 5-pin XLR in/out. Address, dimming and modes can be managed from the lighting console for integration into networked installations. Consistent colour science across the VELVET Power range lets gaffers pair the VELVET Power 1 Studio Spot 15° with Flood and weatherproof variants to build unified lighting rigs for television studios, broadcast facilities, houses of worship and rental fleets.
