VELVET Power 2 Studio Spot 15° is a high-output bi-color LED panel for broadcast studios, live production and streaming control rooms, delivering a narrow 15° beam that cuts through ambience while keeping a smooth, cinema-grade character. With 190 W power draw and a precise 2700–6500 K range in 100 K steps, it covers tungsten, daylight and warm ambience looks from a single fixture, maintaining stable chromaticity for cameras in multi-camera television workflows.
The optical engine combines VELVET custom lenses with selected-bin LEDs to reach 8900 lux at 3 m and 2540 lux at 6 m in spot mode, making the Power 2 Studio Spot 15° suitable as a punchy key, backlight or long-throw accent on drama sets, magazine shows and corporate studios. Optional diffusion and beam-shaping accessories extend the output towards wide soft-light angles, so the same head can feed overhead grids, softboxes or butterfly frames on commercials, ENG units and virtual production stages.
Light output is fully controllable from 0 to 100% with smooth, flicker-free dimming up to 2000 fps for high-speed capture. Local control uses shock-resistant keys, a clear display and a quick 3200/5600 K access button for fast operation under time pressure. For integration into studio or event networks, the fixture offers DMX/RDM control via 5-pin XLR in/out, allowing remote intensity, CCT and status monitoring from lighting consoles in TV studios, OB vans or live venues.
The rugged low-profile aluminum housing is passively cooled, guaranteeing silent operation on dialogue sets and music shows while protecting the electronics with an IP51 dustproof rating for indoor and covered outdoor use from −20 °C to +40 °C. Long-life LEDs rated beyond 50,000 hours and a Neutrik XLR-3 DC input for external 90–264 V AC supplies make the VELVET Power 2 Studio Spot 15° (No Yoke) a dependable building block for fixed studio installations, flypacks and multi-panel arrays in demanding professional film, broadcast and streaming environments; power supply, yoke and rigging accessories are available separately.
