Z CAM P2-R1N 18x Zoom is a broadcast-grade PTZ camera built around a large 1/1.3" CMOS sensor, delivering controlled depth cues and stable colour for studio sets, worship venues and corporate stages. Video output reaches UHD 4K 59.94p, with selectable looks including Rec.709 and HLG for HDR-aware pipelines and predictable matching in multi-camera rooms. Exposure tuning is granular—shutter 1/10000–1 s and gain up to 24 dB (ISO 800–25600) when the scene shifts between spotlights and LED walls.

The optics pair a fast f/1.6–f/3.5 aperture with an 18x optical zoom spanning 36–648 mm (35 mm equivalent). A horizontal field of view from 51° down to 3.6° supports wide masters and tight facial close-ups from the back of the room. PDAF autofocus plus manual focus options stay responsive on moving speakers, while AI auto framing and E.I.S. keep composition stable during panels, lecture capture and follow-style shots. PTZ motion is precise (pan 350°, tilt 240°, up to 180°/s, 0.01° accuracy) for repeatable reframes.

Connectivity is production-centric: HDMI 2.0, 3G-SDI, RJ45 IP and USB-C 3.0, with embedded audio on SDI/HDMI and over the network. IP delivery supports RTMP/RTMPS, RTSP, SRT and Z CAM’s SSP stack; the “N” model adds native NDI|HX3 for low-latency switching, tally and control on a standard LAN. Internal SD recording (H.265, 8-bit, up to 4K60) creates a safety master, and 1080p120 is available for high-motion analysis and replay.

For integration, P2-R1N supports VISCA over IP or RS-422, plus HTTP/CGI control, front and rear tally light logic, and up to 256 presets via CGI (100 via VISCA) for instant shot recall in ATEM/Tricaster/vMix rooms. Power runs via PoE+ (802.3at) for single-cable deployment or 12 V DC (18 W max), while Genlock input supports multi-camera synchronisation. Use it for NDI workflows in TV studios, esports, boardrooms and remote production where network video and deterministic presets matter.
