The 24x lens covers a 35 mm-equivalent 32–768 mm range and pairs with a 1/1.5" CMOS imager, letting you hold a wide master and then pull a tight close-up from the back of an auditorium. Exposure control is broadcast-friendly—shutter from 1/10000 to 1 s and gain up to 36 dB (ISO 200–12800)—so the camera can ride between spotlights, LED walls and dim audience areas. At the wide end you get a 60° horizontal view, tightening down to 3.2° for long-throw close-ups.
Focus stays usable on moving presenters thanks to PDAF plus manual override, while E.I.S. reduces micro-vibration from truss mounts and balcony rails. When you need “operatorless” coverage, AI auto framing keeps the subject centered for panels, training rooms and classrooms, so you can cut between multiple PTZs without chasing framing.
For live switching and remote production, the “N” version adds native NDI_HX3 alongside IP streaming such as SRT, RTMP/RTMPS and RTSP. Outputs cover baseband and USB workflows: 3G-SDI, HDMI 2.0, Ethernet and USB-C 3.0. Video reaches UHD 4K 59.94p, with looks including Rec.709 and HLG; the built-in multiple color matrix helps matching cameras in a multi-cam room. Audio embeds on SDI/HDMI and can be fed via the 3.5 mm mic/line input.
