The ZILR ZIPR 4WD E-Powered Production Cart is built for exactly that ground: its 3000 W drive with selectable FWD, RWD and 4WD modes climbs gradients of up to 30% while hauling 300 kg of camera, lighting and stage kit over gravel, grass and cable ramps.
Traction is governed by an intelligent dual-drive differential algorithm behind a folding steering column. A six-brake system — four-wheel regenerative plus twin mechanical drums at the rear — brings a loaded chassis to a controlled stop on a wet slope, while hill-start assist, anti-rollback and gradient compensation hold everything steady on a truck ramp. Release the throttle and the electronic braking engages on its own. In 4WD mode it reaches 16 km/h; switched to two-wheel drive it trades a little pace, 14 km/h, for extra reach.
The LiFePO₄ battery (36 V, 12 Ah) swaps out in seconds and recharges in roughly three hours: 15 km of range in four-wheel drive, up to 20 km in two, with an LED gauge keeping score. Between jobs the chassis folds compactly for a van shelf or freight lift. Solid rubber tyres cannot puncture mid-show, IPX5 protection shrugs off outdoor broadcast weather, and near-silent motors leave live microphones clean. A TUGR tow hitch arrives factory-fitted, so a second trailer of grip or cable drums follows without extra hands.
Departments rarely agree on setups, which is why ZILR surrounds the cart with sixteen accessories — side saddles, kit crates, a passenger seat that turns it into a rolling camera platform for tracking moves.
