AVMATRIX PKC4000-NDI gives one operator direct command of a multi-camera PTZ system without splitting control between software panels, browser tabs and separate keyboards. The 5-inch touch screen is paired with a 4D joystick, dedicated knobs and illuminated keys, so pan, tilt, zoom, focus, iris, shutter, gain, white balance and exposure can be adjusted from a single surface. This NDI PTZ camera controller works across IP and serial infrastructures. Verified protocol support includes NDI, ONVIF, VISCA, VISCA over IP, Pelco-P and Pelco-D, with control via RJ45, RS-232 and RS-422/RS-485. The controller can manage up to 100 IP cameras in 10 groups, and multiple retail and distribution sources also specify control of up to 7 serial cameras. Preset handling is built for repeatable camera positions during live operation. Real-time preview on the integrated screen is available under supported network protocols, helping the operator verify movement and framing directly on the controller. Tally/GPIO integration is also present, which is useful when PTZ positions must follow preview and program logic inside a switcher-based production chain.
PoE support reduces local power cabling on a desk, in a rack drawer or inside a mobile flypack, while DC powering remains available for standalone control stations.
