AVMATRIX SE2017 brings three production tasks into one compact unit: streaming encoder, recorder and USB capture interface. It accepts either HDMI or 3G-SDI as the program source, provides matching loop outputs for confidence monitoring, and adds a 3.5 mm line input for external audio from a mixer, playback device or presentation system. In a church install, lecture hall or mobile webcast kit, that combination lets one operator take a camera feed, add room audio and send the signal onward without another converter in the chain.

For live delivery, the AVMATRIX SE2017 handles resolutions up to 1080p60 and offers selectable encoding bitrates from 2 to 32 Mb/s, with frame-rate options from 24 to 60 fps. RTSP, RTMP, RTP, SRT are available alongside unicast and multicast transport, so the unit fits studio LAN distribution, direct platform streaming and contribution links between rooms or sites. Main and sub streams allow publishing to as many as six destinations, useful for sending a clean feed to a CDN while keeping separate paths for monitoring, backup or a lower-bandwidth endpoint.

Recording is handled internally to SD card or USB storage, with MP4 and TS file options, split-file intervals and overwrite control available in the menu or web interface. That matters on conference stages, sports sidelines and event venues where a safety copy needs to roll locally while the network feed stays live. The USB-C output works as a driver-free capture connection up to 1080p60, so the same unit can feed OBS, vMix, Zoom or Teams on a connected computer without a separate capture box.

Operation stays practical in the field. A built-in OLED screen and hardware buttons expose status and core settings directly on the chassis, while web control gives access to stream, record, video, audio, overlay and network parameters. Users can switch between HDMI and SDI sources, choose CBR or VBR behaviour, set resolution and frame rate, and place logos, text, channel names or date and time overlays on main and sub streams. With Gigabit Ethernet, PoE or 12 V DC powering, and support for SD, HD and Full HD formats, the AVMATRIX SE2017 suits broadcast desks, education capture, worship streaming and compact flypacks that need fewer boxes and faster deployment.
