A large 1/1.8" 8.4MP CMOS captures crisp 4K60 with multi-exposure HDR and REC.2020 color. The die-cast IP66 housing runs from -40 °C to +60 °C, aided by an integrated heater and hydrophobic, anti-fouling front glass that sheds water and dust. Frame subjects from long range using the 30× optical zoom (up to 60× in HD) on a 6.9–215 mm lens at f/1.35–4.6. When ambient light vanishes, a 500 m IR laser with automatic IR-cut and B/W night mode maintains visibility.
For signal transport, O4 runs simultaneous Full NDI and NDI HX3, or pairs NDI with SRT/RTMP/RTSP for CDN delivery. Baseband outputs include 12G-SDI and HDMI; long-haul is handled via the integrated SFP+ cage for fiber. Networking uses 1 GbE with PoE++ (802.3bt) or 24 V DC. All I/O sits inside a sealed undercarriage. Audio embeds over IP/SDI/HDMI and via a 1/4" TRS unbalanced stereo I/O. Control options cover NDI/VISCA-IP and on-device BirdUI.
