Bolin EXU248NW White is a long-range outdoor PTZ camera for broadcast and IP workflows where detail at distance and reliability in harsh weather are mandatory. A 1-inch Exmor R CMOS block driven at 14.2 megapixels partners with a Zeiss zoom lens to deliver 4K UHD 30p and Full HD 60p, with 18x zoom available in 4K and a 48x optical range in 1080p for tight framing of subjects hundreds of metres away.
The optical path is optimised for live production: constant F2.8 aperture at the wide end, mechanical optical stabilisation, ND filtration and a 64.6° to 6.1° horizontal angle of view allow clean imaging from wide establishing shots to vibration-free telephoto coverage from towers, gantries or stadium roofs. Dual 6G-SDI, HDMI 2.0 and SFP optical SDI run in parallel with NDI High Bandwidth and NDI HX3 streaming, while 10/12-bit 4:2:2 or 4:2:0 sampling, embedded audio and Genlock input keep the EXU248NW at home in colour-critical multicam environments.
For IP production, the camera supports NDI Embedded Bridge, SRT, RTSP and RTMP, giving facilities a direct route into distributed galleries and cloud switching without external encoders. A 1G network connection with PoE++ powers the head over a single cable, with VISCA over IP, NDI control, ONVIF, serial RS-422 and FreeD for real-time AR/VR tracking, making the unit a practical option for remote studios, virtual sets and XR stages.
The EXU248NW housing is built for permanent installation: an IP67 rating, nitrogen-filled enclosure, heater, defroster, concealed wiper and salt-resistant front glass keep the lens clear between –40 °C and +60 °C in rain, snow or coastal spray. Smooth, accurate PTZ movement with up to 255 presets, trace memory and zero-deviation positioning supports scripted camera moves for sports, worship campuses, traffic monitoring and security-sensitive sites where repeatable coverage and unwavering stability are critical.

It is especially useful for virtual live video productions with baseband video feeds and, with Bolin PTZ cameras, with ultra-low latency AV Over IP streaming.
