Libec LX10 Video Tripod

Libec LX10 is a professional fluid head tripod built around a 100 mm bowl for rapid leveling when camera height, lens and accessories change...
Every component of the Cartoni Focus 22 150 passes through the hands of a single engineer at the Cartoni factory in Rome, where 127 individually machined parts are assembled to micrometric tolerances. That artisanal rigour translates into on-set confidence: a video fluid head weighing just 3.9 kg that handles camera rigs from 3 kg up to 25 kg — from a stripped-down mirrorless body to a fully loaded ENG or CineStyle package built around cameras from ARRI, RED, Blackmagic Design, Canon, or Sony.
What sets this head apart is the patented Cartoni labyrinth modular fluid drag. Separate pan and tilt modules house thin concentric rings that interact through aerospace-grade silicone paste, so movement stays engaged — no dead zone, no play, no stiction at the start of a shot. Both pan drag and tilt drag adjust continuously rather than in discrete steps, and the same applies to the patented "wing" counterbalance mechanism with its clearly numbered reference scale. A camera operator switching between a lightweight interview rig and a heavy shoulder-mount configuration can rebalance in seconds and return to the exact setting later. The full ±90° tilt range opens up extreme low-angle and high-angle framing without repositioning the tripod — essential on documentary shoots, concert recordings, or multi-camera studio productions where time between setups is scarce.
Lightweight magnesium alloys and high-resistance polymer composites keep mass low while preserving torsional stiffness. An illuminated bubble level makes horizon checks possible under dim stage lighting or at dusk on location, and the Euro-style quick-release sliding plate lets operators mount and dismount cameras without tools. The telescopic pan bar adapts to left- or right-hand operation and folds flat for transport. Rated between −40 °C and +60 °C, the Focus 22 150 performs from arctic OB conditions to sun-exposed outdoor stages.
The 150 mm bowl seats into any standard 150 mm tripod, and the base accepts the Vinten four-bolt pattern for mounting onto studio pedestals or sliders. A removable tie-down shaft with a 3/8″ thread adds compatibility with third-party support gear. Cartoni backs every registered unit with a five-year warranty, underlining the longevity philosophy behind this Italian-made fluid head.
