A second-generation take on Z CAM's Micro Four Thirds line, the Z-CAM E2-M4 Mark II keeps the compact cube body the E2 series built its...
Sensor pedigree decides how hard a camera can be pushed once a schedule tightens. The Kinefinity MAVO mark2 LF KineMOUNT carries the full-frame 6K 3:2 CMOS sensor from the MAVO Edge 6K, resolving 6016 x 3984 over a 36 x 24 mm active area, image circle 43.3 mm. That is true large-format geometry: wide coverage and the shallow separation clients ask for on commercials and narrative work. Dual base ISO 800 and 5120 lets one body cover a midday exterior and a practical-lit night interior, and over 14 stops of latitude holds speculars that smaller sensors clip.
Lens options stay open. The native KineMOUNT is included and converts to PL, LPL or EF without tools, so one body serves an anamorphic drama and an EF documentary package in the same month. Optional Active PL and Active E mounts add electronic control: Cooke/i focal length, iris and focus data lands in the clip for VFX and dailies, and E-mount glass runs from the camera menu with stabilisation still active. Mount swaps need no flange calibration.
Recording is Apple ProRes 4444XQ and 4444 at 12-bit, plus 422 HQ, 422 and LT at 10-bit. KineLOG3 holds the full tonal range for grading, Neutral Rec.709 gives a direct monitoring path, and custom 3D LUTs load over USB-C. KineMAG Nano SSDs come in 1 TB and 2 TB, while third-party NVMe M.2 2280 drives fit through the KineMAG Nano Body; each mag has its own USB-C port, so offload hits 10 Gbps without a reader. Speeds reach 48 fps in 6K open gate, 75 fps at 6K 2.4:1, 86 fps at 5K 2.4:1 and past 200 fps in cropped 2K for product slow motion, and anamorphic de-squeeze is internal.
Multi-camera days are covered. Two independent 3G/1.5G-SDI BNC outputs send embedded audio and metadata to a switcher or DIT cart, timecode runs in and out, and RS422 sync locks several bodies together for drama coverage or live capture. Two XLR inputs with 48 V phantom record 24-bit/48 kHz linear PCM. Wi-Fi 5 covers remote control and streaming. The hybrid plate takes 14.8 V V-mount bricks or compact BP-U cells, and a 27 W draw lets a 200 Wh battery run a long block. Aerospace-grade aluminium and a 0–40 °C range keep the MAVO mark2 LF steady on gimbals and on location.

MAVO mark2 LF Full Frame 6K 3:2 / Dual Native ISO 800 & 5120 / 14+ Stops
Inherits the acclaimed full-frame sensor from MAVO Edge 6K. Wider angle, shallower depth of field, and a more immersive cinematic presence. Dual native ISO 800/5120 for exceptional low-light performance.
Native KineMOUNT
KineMOUNT is very convenient for switching mount adapters including EF, PL and LPL adapters without tools. In addition to keeping the exclusive native KineMOUNT, MAVO mark2 provides two new lens mounts: the Active PL Mount and Active E Mount. Users can install and detach the active mounts without extra flange distance calibration.

Wi-Fi app control (iOS/Android), 23 W power, V-mount/BP-U hybrid plate
Compact, modular, 1.37 kg body with accessory threads and OLED monitoring options
Both MAVO mark2 cameras adopt the MAVO Edge high-performance computing platform, integrate industry standard ports like independent dual SDI outputs, record in-camera ProRes4444XQ to NVMe M.2 SSD. With fully integrated, refined lightweight design and efficient workflow, the cameras help more cinematographers achieve a classic, efficient cinematic experience at a more affordable price.
Advanced Platform, Streamlined Workflow
Powerful in-camera ProRes recording, flexible SSD media, and efficient workflow from acquisition to post.
Integrated Body Design
MAVO mark2 inherits the integrated body design of MAVO Edge camera which has won the prestigious iF DESIGN AWARD 2021. The compact camera body features a host of general control ports, dual SDI outputs with embedded metadata and audio, high-quality multi-channel audio recording, timecode sync, and RS232 protocol LENS port for third-party accessories.
Comprehensive Power Solution
The MAVO mark2 offers an innovative hybrid battery plate to accommodate power demands in various shooting scenarios. It supports standard 14.8V V-mount batteries like KineBAT PD 99/200, as well as BP-U type batteries like GripBAT 4S. With the addition of Movcam KineKIT-Edge cage, NP-F550 type batteries can support an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) to the camera via the UPS baseplate.
Ultra-Compact, Ultra-Light
MAVO mark2 features a high-strength aviation aluminum alloy body with highly integrated functions, yet weighs only 1.35kg (2.98lbs). It is lighter than both MAVO Edge and MAVO LF with KineBACK, making it easy to carry and suitable for a wide range of complex and dynamic shooting scenarios.
