The Laowa Aurogon FF 10–50X NA 0.5 Supermicro APO for Canon RF brings microscope-grade optics straight to full-frame cinema and broadcast cameras, enabling direct-to-sensor super-micro imagery without relay tubes or trinocular adapters.

Four swappable tubes supply 10×, 20×, 35× and 50× magnification. Each locks onto the common apochromatic objective and maintains a constant 20 mm working distance (0.79 in), so focus, illumination and stage alignment stay unchanged while escalating from plankton cilia to micro-vias. An eight-step numerical aperture selector yields NA values 0.15→0.50; the wide 0.50 setting resolves ≈3 µm detail, narrower stops extend depth for high-count focus stacks.

Optical geometry tackles 8K sensors: axial/lateral chromatic error is held across 435–656 nm; distortion sits under 0.8 %. A 9-blade iris preserves circular bokeh. Equivalent focal lengths shift 18.8 mm (10×) → 5.56 mm (50×), while conjugate distances progress 299 mm → 465 mm to keep lighting rigs clear. Masses stay rig-friendly: objective 390 g, tubes 377–609 g.

Precision-milled aluminium tolerances < 0.01 mm secure parfocality, and the native Canon RF bayonet locks tight for vibration-free 8K/120 P capture. Covering a Ø43 mm image circle, the Aurogon 10-50X supports semiconductor QA, biomedical imaging, forensic trace analysis, and cinematic title sequences that demand uncompromised 50:1 reproduction. It transforms any RF body into a field-portable micro-scope with repeatable positioning. Optional slip-ring collars dock to Arca rails for quick tube swaps, and padded case guards optics on the move. Manual focus delivers frame-exact pulls for stacks and high speed shutters. Components ship calibrated, holding full edge acuity at every NA.

Laowa Aurogon FF 10-50X NA0.5 Supermicro APO covers full-frame sensors and can directly use on cameras. It features seamlessly interchangeable magnification tubes, offering 10X, 20X, 35X, and 50X magnification options. The adjustable numerical aperture (NA) of this microscope lens ranges from 0.5 to 0.1, the high NA providing room for exceptional brightness and minimal diffraction. The lens is designed with a fixed 20mm long working distance, ensuring both flexibility and convenience for the lighting setup. Aurogon delivers high performance with APO design and outstanding resolution. It is your ultimate companion for diving into the microscopic realm.

Today, Laowa is taking a remarkable leap, introducing the Aurogon FF 10-50x NA0.5 supermicro APO. This is a precise lens set for both professionals and hobbyists who are fond of high magnification photography, to enjoy up to 50X magnification shooting directly on their own camera with rooms of flexibility.

Laowa Aurogon is ready to turn your camera into a microscope, and more than a microscope.

Here comes a new era, join us to capture what can’t be seen with the naked eye.

Switchable Magnifications from 10X to 50X
Amplifying your joy from 10x,20x,35x to 50x with the unseen beauty captured. The lens body are formed by 2 parts: the switchable magnification tubes mounting onto the camera, and the objective lens at the front. With a fixed setup, you can switch the magnification tubes at the back effortlessly without recalibration of setup.

Direct-use on camera
At its core, Laowa Aurogon is a compact photo lens that can be directly use on a camera. With a stable and bright setup, you are welcomed to discover the micro beauty at your leisure, having the set at home, and even outdoor.

Fixed 20mm long working distance for all magnifications
Having a long working distance is essential for a microscopic lens, in order to have sufficient light entering the lens for a clear image capturing. Laowa Aurogon provides 20 mm long and fixed working distance for all 4 magnifications, no calibration is required for magnification changing, providing a more convenient and consistent shooting experience undoubtedly.

APO with extraordinary image quality
Laowa Aurogon with promising APO design ensures extraordinary image results. Exceptional chromatic aberration control also provide superb image clarity.

Adjustable high NA
The 8 grade NA values of 0.5 – 0.15 indicated on the objective lens addresses the depth of field for microscopic shooting. The wide NA provided with ample lighting ensures that when capturing images, a lower ISO value can be used, resulting in a purer picture. With manual NA, photographers can enjoy flexible aperture control with their own setup to create images with best quality.

Capture at anywhere, and any directions you want with the Laowa Aurogon
Time to think out of the box with the Laowa Aurogon microscopic lens set! This is a revolutionary set to rock both the scientific-aimed and hobbyists groups, to have the lens set in lab, at home, and even out in the field.

We are delighted to have experts from both macro insect photography and micro-organisms photographesr, researchers, and content creators worked with the Laowa Aurogon, showing us more shooting possibilities than we expected. This portable lens set provides rooms of flexibility on setup. When microscope offer vertically setup for observation only, Laowa Aurogon can do both vertical and horizontal photo and video shooting. Besides of specimen shooting, living microsomes in tank can be recorded directly with no extra laboratory tools e.g. dropper, glass plate and cover slip needed. It’s all under your control.

Additional lens tube slip ring
Stable setup is necessary for Aurogon to capture precise and detailed images. Laowa offers additional lens tube slip rings for the purchase. These rings secure the lens in place, minimizing unwanted vibrations and accidental focus shifts, enabling photographers to achieve sharp, focused shots.

With amply lighting, stable setup tools, and basic micro photography skills, Laowa Aurogon is your best micro-photography companion, offering you an affordable gateway to join the micro photography world.
