A 13-blade iris maintains perfectly rounded oval bokeh, while the neutral silver flare follows the hue of the source and keeps contrast intact.

With a 70.8° horizontal angle and bright T2.8, the 27 mm is equally at home on wide establishing shots, shoulder-mounted vérité or lightweight FPV drones. Minimum focus is just 0.43 m, tightening perspective without diopters and amplifying separation. Focus and aperture rings share aligned 0.8 MOD gears; the generous 271° focus throw supports smooth, accurate pulls, and dual metric/imperial scales streamline communication on set.

Engineering is production-ready: the Ø80 mm front accepts clamp-on matte boxes, while a 77 mm filter thread provides quick access to diopters or V-NDs.
