    Laowa Nanomorph 42 mm T2.9 1.5× Anamorphic LF (Amber) delivers a distinctive cinematic signature without the bulk of legacy anamorphics. Its generous Ø44.7 mm image circle blankets full-frame and VistaVision sensors, while the constant 1.5× squeeze yields a native 2.66:1 frame on 16:9 capture, unlocking widescreen drama in-camera. Unlike 1.33× optics that under-deliver scope, the 1.5× factor brings richer oval bokeh and warmer horizontal flares, yet sidesteps the heavy stretch of vintage 2× glass.

    The 17-element/15-group optical path suppresses distortion, chromatic shift and edge squeeze, maintaining bite across the frame.
