The head carries camera builds up to 4 kg and the counterbalance range reaches 0–2.5 kg (C.G. 55 mm), covering ultra-light mirrorless bodies as well as lightly rigged DSLR and compact cine cameras.
For movement control, NX-100C combines Free plus 3-step pan/tilt drag with a multi-layer metal drag structure and silicone grease tuning for consistent start/stop behaviour and suppressed backlash—useful for live switching, slow interview moves, and product shots where micro-jerks read on screen. Tilt travel reaches +90° / −70° and the operating window spans −40°C to +60°C, so friction stays predictable from winter exterior B-roll to warm studio floors. An LED-illuminated bubble level supports setup in dark venues, and pack-down is fast because storage does not rely on setting the drag dial to zero.
The legs lock into position with the SP-1B ground spreader for a rigid stance on conference stages, house-of-worship streaming platforms, and multi-camera talk shows where leg drift between takes is not acceptable. A snap-on/off sliding quick-release plate accelerates camera swaps and supports common 75 mm plate ecosystems, including Manfrotto- and Sachtler-style workflows. Three accessory ports with 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threads accept monitor arms, wireless receiver brackets or small lights, keeping the rig tidy around the head. Double-sided serrations allow a second pan bar for front-of-camera operation.

The NX-100C/MC models are specially designed for small cameras like mirroless cameras, DSLRs and small handheld cameras while providing excellent weight balance. They offer significantly increased stability during pan and tilt movements and achieve both the highest precision and ease of use in this tripod class.
The NX series can support a wide range of camera configurations with a newly designed multistep counterbalance system. Users can choose from 5 levels of counterbalance, including an option for zero "free" mode for the fastest possible setup.
The multi-layered metal construction eases operation and increases durability and reliability. The NX series offers a variable 4-stage drag-pan-tilt system that features a zero "free" mode setting with no friction. In addition, the finest silicone grease is used to ensure smooth pan and tilt movements at a wide temperature range from -40˚C up to +60˚C.
With a new lightweight structure design, the width of the carbon leg's upper pipe leg is widened to enhance torsional rigidity and provide high payload performance. Developed exclusively for the NX series, the FP-1B foot pads and SP-1B floor spreader are available which are even lighter than the existing models FP-2B and SP-2B.
On the side of the fluid head, there are 1/4 and 3/8 inch screw holes and serrations to attach additional accessories like an additional pan handle. Dual-head specification is available for both 75mm bowl and flat base tripods and is also compatible with sliders, skater dollies, and photo tripods.
The sliding plate can be attached and released with just one-touch, so that easy and smooth settings in the field are easily achieved. It is compatible with the hands-free monopod "TH-M", the electric gimbal "TH-G3", and other brand camera accessories.
The bubble level is equipped with an LED light to level the tripod in the dark. With safety in mind, the tripod legs are carefully designed to prevent the tripod from collapsing on a user's fingers, even if the tripod is collapsed unintentionally. The carrying case includes a shoulder strap, handles and a zipped pocket.
