Two cameras in one white housing — that is the operational logic of the Lumens VC-TR41 White PTZ Camera. A panoramic 87°/49° lens with a 1/2.8″ 2 MP sensor watches the whole scene at 720p30, while a separate 1/2.8″ 2.16 MP PTZ block with 20x optical zoom (12x digital, f=4.9–94 mm, F1.6–F2.8) chases the action and delivers 1080p at 60/50/30/25 fps. Framing stays steady without an operator, in a discreet finish that suits lecture halls, corporate boardrooms and broadcast sets.
Tracking behaviour is where production teams spend their setup time. Everywhere, Stage, Partition and Audience tracking cover four very different scenarios — a roaming keynote on a 12-metre stage, a panel debate split into left/right zones, or a Q&A where the lens needs to swing onto whoever stands up. Auto Framing keeps headroom and look-space disciplined, and gesture control lets a presenter trigger zoom changes with no remote in hand. Movement stays silent and quick: pan ±170° at up to 120°/s, tilt +90°/-30° at up to 80°/s, with 256 presets for recall between segments.
The Lumens VC-TR41 White feeds HDMI, 3G-SDI, IP (RJ-45) and USB 3.0 simultaneously — an HDMI return hits a confidence monitor while SDI runs to the switcher, IP carries the stream and USB drops a UVC 1.1 / UAC feed into a softcodec call. Streaming covers RTSP, RTMP, RTMPS and SRT with H.264, dual IP streams (main 1080p60, second 720p30) plus a 720p30 panoramic feed. A PoE port (IEEE 802.3af, 11 W) consolidates power, control, audio and video on one cable; a 12 V DC input (10 W) is there as backup. Audio comes in through a 3.5 mm Line/Mic jack, AAC or PCM, embedded into every output.
The camera is Zoom-certified and exposes VISCA and ONVIF control over RS-232, RS-422 (RJ-45), Ethernet or USB, slotting into established Lumens, NewTek, Panasonic and Sony control surfaces. WDR, 3D-NR and full auto/manual control over exposure, white balance, gain and focus help engineers match looks across multiple units. Paired with a Lumens LC300 CaptureVision processor, the full chain — presenter follow, audience switch, recording and live distribution — runs unattended. A practical, install-grade choice for higher-education auditoriums, council chambers, training studios and esports arenas where stream time has to look produced.
