A presenter leaves the lectern, walks the width of the stage, and the shot follows — no joystick, no operator. The Lumens VC-TR41N White manages this with two optics working as a pair: a fixed panoramic lens covering 87° reads the whole room, while the motorised head with 20x optical zoom holds the subject in crisp Full HD 1080p60. Every tracking decision is computed inside the camera, so nothing needs installing and no licence ever expires. Three modes — Everywhere, Stage and Partition — adapt the behaviour to lecture theatres, panel debates or board meetings; an auto-framing option pulls every participant into shot, and hand gestures let the speaker start or pause tracking without touching a remote.

The N in the name signals its strongest asset: certified NDI|HX3 output. On an ordinary Gigabit network the camera appears directly in TriCaster, vMix or OBS with low latency, which turns multi-camera switching into a purely network matter. RTSP, RTMP(S) and SRT run alongside for secure contribution or direct platform streaming, while HDMI, 3G-SDI and USB 3.0 stay live at the same time — one unit can feed the in-room display, a recorder and a Teams or Zoom call simultaneously.

Image quality rests on a 1/2.8-inch sensor behind an F1.6 lens, usable down to 1 lux. WDR and 3D noise reduction keep faces readable against bright projection screens, and Smart AF refocuses discreetly during movement. The head pans ±170° at up to 120° per second, yet the motors stay quiet enough to mount near open microphones; 256 presets plus VISCA and ONVIF support tie it into existing room control systems.

Deployment stays lean: a single PoE cable (IEEE 802.3af) carries power alongside video, audio and control data, so cabling costs on multi-room projects remain predictable. Administrators reach configuration and firmware updates through the built-in web console — valuable once a fleet of cameras spans several floors. Mounted upright or inverted, the white housing blends into light ceilings in auditoriums, courtrooms and corporate studios. For an AV integrator weighing reliability against budget, the VC-TR41N is the rare auto-tracking camera that needs neither an operator nor an external encoder to pay its way.
