Dual-sensor PTZ cameras have long promised to simplify live production, yet few deliver simultaneous 4K output and long-range subject tracking the way the Lumens VC-TR61 Black does. Built around two independent UltraHD imaging engines — a 1/1.8-inch 8.48-megapixel CMOS with a 30x optical zoom lens and a secondary 1/2.8-inch panoramic module offering an 85.1° horizontal field of view — this AI auto-tracking PTZ camera captures a tight presenter shot and a wide contextual frame at the same time. Each sensor feeds its own 4K 60fps IP stream, letting a production crew cut between close-up and room-wide angles without a second camera body.

What sets the VC-TR61 apart from single-lens trackers is the reach of its AI engine: reliable lock-on from 2 to 18 metres, with an optimal working distance around 8 metres. Three tracking modes — Stage Tracking, Everywhere Tracking, and Partition Tracking — let operators define zones, exclusion areas, and zoom triggers tied to presenter position. During a corporate keynote, Partition Tracking can tighten the frame when the speaker approaches a screen and pull wide when they return to the podium. Auto-framing refines composition in real time, while picture-in-picture compositing merges both feeds into one HDMI or USB output via the built-in web interface.

Connectivity spans every signal path a broadcast or AV-over-IP facility demands. HDMI carries 2160p60 from both cameras; 3G-SDI delivers 1080p60; and the Ethernet port streams up to 4K60 via H.264 or H.265 over RTSP, RTMP, RTMPS, and SRT, with Dante Ready audio on the same cable. USB provides a 2160p30 UVC/UAC feed recognised by Zoom or Microsoft Teams without extra capture hardware. Control runs through VISCA and ONVIF over RS-232 or IP, backed by 256 programmable presets for rehearsed multi-position recall.

A single PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) cable handles data and 26 W of power, or a 12 V DC input draws 25 W — keeping installations clean in ceiling-mounted lecture halls, studios, and event venues. With 0.5-lux minimum illumination, WDR, and 3D noise reduction, the Lumens VC-TR61 Black holds broadcast-grade image quality under challenging lighting. Pan range of ±170° at up to 100°/sec and tilt of +90° to −30° at 60°/sec ensure rapid repositioning between speakers.

    4K Dual Video Outputs
For accurate tracking, VC-TR61 features dual UltraHD cameras – a main robotic head with optical zoom and a panoramic camera with an ultra-wide viewing angle. Each camera generates an independent 4K IP output for live streaming, AV transmission or multi-channel video production

Stage Tracking and Everywhere Tracking Modes
Lumens advanced tracking algorithms make the VC-TR61 suitable for use in presentations, conferences, houses of worship and education. Delivering reliable and smooth results, the camera includes mode selection to set tracking areas, exclusion zones and camera movement.

    Partition Tracking Mode
In Partition Tracking Mode, the operator can program camera actions depending on the location of the subject within the tracking area. This can include triggering a particular zoom angle to focus the audience’s attention on the presenter or a wider shot to frame both the speaker and a whiteboard.

    Picture-in-Picture (PIP) Output
As a 2-camera unit, VC-TR61 outputs dual independent IP streams. A simple menu setting also enables it to create a composite picture-in-picture output (via HDMI and USB). The user can easily define the position and size of the inset picture via the web interface.

    Excellent Quality Ultra HD Video
Paired with a low distortion professional zoom lens, the camera's large (1/1.8") CMOS sensor produces very high quality 4K and HD images. Pictures are detailed and color accurate, and the 60P native frame rate produces extremely natural looking video.
