Bundled with the full Auto Tracking Application RA-AT001, the Canon CR-N400 Black PTZ Camera turns a single operator into a virtual multi-camera unit. The licensed app unlocks Multi-Person Framing, Face Direction Framing and Sit/Stand Framing — three compositional behaviours that hold cleanly through talk shows, panel debates, hybrid lectures and corporate visual podcasts where presenters move between chairs, lecterns and roundtables without a camera op nudging the joystick.

Beneath the tracking layer sits a serious broadcast platform. A 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor paired with the DIGIC DV7 image processor captures 4K UHD up to 59.94p in 4:2:2 10-bit, with HDR rendition across Canon Log 3, HLG and PQ for studios chasing pristine highlights and shadow detail. The 20x optical zoom lens (f/1.8–2.8, 3.67–73.4 mm) reaches roughly 616 mm at the tele end in 35 mm-equivalent terms, and a 40x reach mode in Full HD lets operators isolate guests at the far side of a conference floor or arena stage without leaving the rig.

For live galleries and OB units, the Canon CR-N400 Black Auto Tracking PTZ Camera fans out a complete connectivity stack: 12G-SDI via BNC, HDMI Type A, USB-C 3.0, plus 1000Base-T LAN that streams NDI|HX2, SRT, RTMP/RTMPS, RTSP/RTP and Canon's XC protocol.
