Marshall CV620-BI2 PTZ camera is a Full HD remote camera for broadcast, streaming and installed AV systems that need stable motion, direct integration and repeatable framing. It uses a 2MP Sony IMX327 1/2.8" sensor with a 20x optical zoom lens (5.33-110 mm), covering a wide 57° horizontal angle for room shots and tightening to about 3.7° for podium, stage or lectern close-ups. The camera outputs up to 1080p at 60 fps, and also supports 1080i and 720p formats, which is practical when matching existing SDI switchers, streaming encoders and venue standards. WDR and 3D noise reduction help maintain a cleaner image in mixed lighting, especially in conference halls, churches and council chambers.
The PTZ block is built for smooth operation during live productions. Pan/tilt/zoom motors run synchronously, with selectable speed behavior and a movement range of ±170° pan and -30° to +90° tilt. In practice, this gives reliable coverage of presenters, panel discussions, classrooms and sports commentary positions without visible jumps in framing. The camera also stores 128 presets, so operators can recall repeatable angles for stage marks, interview positions or multi-speaker sessions. A tally light is included, which is useful in studio and event environments where on-air indication matters for presenters and camera matching.
For integration, Marshall CV620-BI2 provides simultaneous 3G-SDI, HDMI, USB and IP outputs, allowing one camera feed to serve a vision mixer, confidence monitor, conferencing PC and network stream at the same time. IP transport and control options include common protocols such as RTSP, RTMP, SRT, ONVIF and VISCA over IP, with additional control via RS-232, RS-422, IR remote and web interface. This makes the camera easy to place in lecture theatres, broadcast studios, corporate webcast rooms, courtrooms, government installations and live event rigs where different control layers are used by different teams. Audio can be embedded through the 3.5 mm mic/line input, and power can be supplied by 12 V DC or PoE (IEEE 802.3af), which simplifies single-cable installation on walls, trusses or ceiling mounts.
