Netgear M4250-40G8F-PoE+ fits the places where an AV network has to carry many endpoints without turning switch setup into a separate project. This model brings 40 Gigabit PoE+ ports with a 480 W PoE budget and 8 SFP fiber uplinks, so one chassis can feed PTZ cameras, AV encoders, decoders, Dante interfaces, control panels and other rack devices while keeping fiber paths available between rooms, floors or technical racks. The M4250 platform ships with a dedicated AV web interface and port-based profiles for ecosystems such as Dante, Q-SYS, AES67, NDI plus optional AVB support. NETGEAR IGMP Plus reduces multicast setup overhead for star topologies, while Auto-Trunk and Auto-LAG help when several compatible switches are linked together. In practice, this matters in installations with multiple multicast video receivers, networked audio zones, replay rooms, flypacks or building-wide signal distribution.
