PTZOptics Studio Pro is a professional 12x optical zoom box camera for live streaming, studio cutaways and broadcast inserts. It captures Full HD 1080p60 with low latency over NDI® HX3, while outputting simultaneously via HDMI, USB-C (UVC 1.5) and IP. A hardware portrait/landscape switch supports vertical workflows. Built-in LED panel (3000–6000 K) and a calibrated microphone array deliver ready-to-use acquisition on a compact footprint.

The optical block pairs a real-glass 12x zoom (horizontal 72.5°–6.9° FoV) with a 1/2.8″ CMOS sensor (2.07 MP). Time-of-Flight autofocus locks quickly and holds focus through moves, while manual controls enable shallow-depth looks without hunting. Minimum illumination is 0.5 lux for reliable results under practical lighting. A cold shoe enables on-axis accessories; an IR remote is included for menu and focus/zoom operations.

Connectivity covers HDMI 1.4b, USB-C 3.0 for uncompressed UVC, and IP streaming with SRT, RTMP/RTSP, ONVIF and multicast. Encoding options include H.264/H.265/MJPEG and YUY2. Audio arrives via the internal array or a 3.5 mm mic input with AAC at 96/128/256 kbps. Power the camera by PoE (802.3af), 12 VDC, or 5 V USB. Place it up to 100 m from your switch over a single Ethernet cable for control, power and transport. Streams can be published directly to CDNs using RTMP(S) or contribution links via SRT, while NDI® HX3 integrates with IP switchers and tally. PoE simplifies single-cable installation; typical draw is 6 W.

At 147 × 113 × 77 mm and 699 g, Studio Pro fits where traditional camcorders won’t. It suits fixed angles beside PTZ heads, talent close-ups, and presenter framing for OBS, vMix, TriCaster and hardware switchers. The PTZOptics Studio Pro ships with an LED light, locking USB cable and IR remote, and carries a 5-year limited warranty—ready for broadcast, corporate studios and live event pipelines. Display field of view is 80.2°, suitable for multi-presenter sets.

The ultra-fast time-of-flight sensor allows the camera to focus moving objects very accurately. Moreover, users can switch between advanced focus settings for beautiful bokeh effects.

Flexiblity and compatibility
In contrast to most DSLR cameras, the Studio Pro has HDMI, USB, and IP output capabilities, which can be used simultaneously. This makes this camera ideal for complex setups. In addition, this camera comes with NDI®|HX and does not require to be updated with a license. The Studio Pro can be powered by USB, 12VDC, or POE for flexile deployment.

Additional features
The Studio Pro comes with a premium LED POV light which produces temperatures up to 6000K. This USB-powered light offers different modes from soft white all the way up to crisp daylight. Additional features include a noise canceling microphone array and a cold shoe mount.
