Marshall CV568 is a miniature POV camera built for broadcast and streaming setups that need Full HD coverage from positions where a regular body will not fit. A 3.2 megapixel 1/1.8" Sony Exmor sensor with global shutter captures 1920×1080 up to 1080p60 without rolling-shutter skew, even with racing cars, eSports LED walls or fast camera moves. The included 4.4 mm M12 lens delivers an approximately 84° horizontal angle of view, giving wide shots from goalposts, truss, commentary desks or the edge of a stage.
The camera outputs simultaneously over 3G-SDI and HDMI, feeding switchers, recorders and on-set monitors at the same time. Frame-accurate Genlock tri-level sync keeps multi-camera systems aligned for clean cuts and graphics in live sport, studio shows and virtual productions. Image tools such as mirror/flip, digital zoom, stabilisation, noise reduction, auto white balance and an extensive colour matrix allow the CV568 to be shaded so that it matches larger cameras in the truck or on pedestals.
The interchangeable M12 lens mount lets engineers choose anything from ultra-wide POV coverage to tighter framing on lecterns, drum kits or penalty areas. A 12-pin Hirose breakout carries power, Genlock, audio and RS-485 control, so menus and paint parameters can be adjusted from Marshall RCP units or PC software over long SDI runs. The mic/line input with stereo embedding up to 48 kHz lets a commentator microphone or ambience travel with the picture on a single cable.
A robust aluminium housing with protected rear connectors, a standard 1/4"-20 mounting point and 12 V DC power draw of about 6 W means the CV568 can stay permanently installed in arenas, theatres, houses of worship, council chambers, lecture halls or corporate studios. New Global Shutter CMOS Technology
Global Shutter camera sensors are nothing new to the broadcast proAV industry, however when users are challenged to capture ultra-fast motion within the field-of-view, motion anomalies become more of a challenge - Sony Global Shutter sensors perform better in these conditions as all pixels are exposed (start to finish) simultaneously.
Genlock Tri-Level Sync Feature
Tri-level sync allows multiple cameras to be plugged into HD workflows already in sync (genlock) which allows for seamless transitions between cameras with minimal amount of delay. Tri-level runs at higher frequency which makes the HD60 signal sync more accurate and more seamless.
25% Larger Pixel Size
Larger physical pixel sizes allow for greater accuracy of color and clarity even in low-light applications. The CV568 utilizes a Sony Exmor 1/1.8" sensor with larger physical pixels to deliver step-up broadcast quality images from a miniature camera size.
