The aktiv6 fluid head carries rigs from 0 to 8 kg and keeps them there with 15 indexed counterbalance steps; three grades of pan-and-tilt drag (plus zero) maintain the classic Sachtler feel. A 120 mm Sideload plate lets you rebalance cine zooms instantly, and the +90 °/-70 ° tilt span handles verticals and ground-level reveals. Built for field abuse, the 2.6 kg magnesium shell works from −40 °C to +60 °C without losing damping precision.
Carbon-fibre flowtech75 aktiv legs lock or release all sections with a single brake; magnets snap them shut for transport. Height with the spreader ranges from 0.63 m to 1.57 m, dropping to 0.26 m in spreader-less low-mode, while the unique triangular tube resists twist under loads up to 20 kg.
