The Saramonic WiTalk9 SE 4S is a four-headset wireless intercom headset system for professional crews that require constant full-duplex communication on set, in OB trucks and during live streaming. Operating in the licence-free 2.4 GHz digital band with dual internal and external antennas plus adaptive frequency hopping, it maintains a stable, secure RF link with up to 350 m range (≈1,150 ft) line-of-sight. The architecture offers 5 simultaneous talk channels, so the SE 4S kit covers director and three operators out of the box and can be expanded to a 9-user intercom by cascading additional WiTalk9 SE systems without a central hub.
Speech clarity is driven by Saramonic’s ClearTalk three-microphone ENC array, which analyses the sound field in 360° and attenuates ambient noise before transmission. Two selectable noise cancellation modes (Weak / Strong) and an advanced automatic gain control algorithm preserve intelligibility next to PA stacks, generators or moving dollies, while the voice-focused 150 Hz–8 kHz bandwidth keeps cues precise and natural. End-to-end latency stays below 140 ms, enabling the WiTalk9 SE 4S to integrate into vision mixing, camera shading, replay and streaming workflows where talkback must stay locked to picture timing.
The system uses decentralised grouping, allowing any headset to assume the master role so communication continues even if one unit is lost or damaged. A wired LINK port provides remote communication or monitoring via external mixers, computers or intercom interfaces, while the Saramonic control app over USB-C simplifies fleet configuration, channel assignment and status supervision. Lightweight single-ear headsets built on a PC+30GF reinforced frame combine IPX5 water resistance, Level 3 wind protection, quick-detach protein leather ear cushions and interchangeable foam pads for long days in outdoor or indoor environments. Each headset offers up to 24 hours of operation from one rechargeable pack, supports charging while in use and incorporates pull-up boom muting, one-touch broadcast / PTT and precise level control, giving professional AV, broadcast and corporate event teams a compact, scalable 2.4 GHz intercom platform.
