SmallHD Camera Control Kit for ARRI unites the tactile speed of PageOS-powered monitors with the precision menu architecture of ARRI digital cinema cameras. Designed for Ultra 5 / Ultra 7 / Ultra 10 and Cine 7 touch-screens, the kit unlocks full-bandwidth ARRI protocol over a single Ethernet link, letting DPs or DITs manage ALEXA 35, ALEXA Mini, ALEXA Mini LF and AMIRA bodies directly from the monitor without the OEM viewfinder. The licence card registers permanently to the monitor, so control surfaces appear instantly at boot with zero re-pairing on power cycles.
Inside PageOS you gain fingertip access to all camera metadata: run/stop, clip list, project FPS, shutter angle/exposure time, ND density, EI, white-balance/tint and media health. Every parameter is mapped to the monitor’s gesture interface, reducing menu dives on the camera side and enabling rapid changes while the rig is on a gimbal, crane or Steadicam. Overlay feedback confirms each adjustment in real time, safeguarding continuity and speeding turnovers on multi-cam sets.
Hardware is equally robust. Two locking 10-pin LEMO to RJ-45 control leads (straight and right-angle) measure 0.91 m (36 in) each, plus a compact micro-patch cable for on-rig routing. Gold-plated contacts and double shielding preserve bidirectional data integrity, while ARRI’s keyed connectors resist vibration in high-mobility configurations. The full kit weighs just 125 g (0.275 lb) and ships in a box only 14.5 × 10.3 × 7.7 cm, minimising case footprint.
