Pan-tilt heads add cost, moving parts and service visits, yet plenty of camera positions in a studio or venue never move at all. For those spots the Telycam Vision+ 4KZ BK is a fixed 4K60 box camera that shares its lens, 1/1.8-inch 9 MP CMOS sensor and image processor with the Vision+ 4KN 20x PTZ. Put both on the same switcher and the pictures match from the first frame, so rehearsal time goes into shot composition rather than chasing skin tones between sources.

The 20x optical zoom (6.25–112.5 mm, F1.58–F3.96) runs from a 61° wide shot to a 3.5° close-up – enough to hold a lectern from the back of an auditorium or a presenter from a truss 20 metres away. Autofocus reacts fast during zoom moves, the minimum object distance is 1 m, and 2D/3D noise reduction keeps the picture usable down to 0.5 lux. Anti-flicker at 50 or 60 Hz tames LED lighting and video walls.

Output options suit both baseband and IP rooms. HDMI 2.0 carries up to 2160p60, while the NDI|HX3 main stream sends 2160p30 or 1080p60 over Gigabit Ethernet. A parallel CROP stream at up to 1080p60 is where the AI works: Auto Framing keeps a panel of speakers composed as a group, and Auto Tracking follows one presenter across the stage, giving a wide and a tight angle from a single body with no operator. H.264/H.265 encoding in CBR or VBR (1–61 Mb/s) pushes straight to SRT, RTMP, RTSP or WebRTC destinations. USB 2.0 UVC output serves conferencing rooms, though not while NDI is active.

Rigging the Vision+ 4KZ takes little time. One PoE+ (IEEE 802.3bt) cable powers the camera and carries video, VISCA over IP control and NDI tally, with 12 V DC as a fallback. Exposure, white balance and the IP address are set on a side-mounted colour screen with five buttons – no laptop needed on the ladder. Audio enters through a 3.5 mm stereo line input or a mini XLR with +48 V phantom power, a microSD slot records a local safety copy, and FreeD lens data links the camera to Unreal Engine, Aximmetry or Zero Density virtual sets. RS-232 with VISCA and Pelco P/D, ONVIF and SSDP discovery cover control rooms, lecture capture and corporate AV integrations.
