Teradek Bolt 6 LT MAX TX/RX delivers zero-delay wireless video over the new 6 GHz band, freeing links from Wi-Fi congestion. The transmitter ingests UHD 4K 30 p (HDMI) or 1080p60 (3G-SDI), keeps 10-bit 4:2:2 HDR intact and hands it to the receiver in < 0.001 s; 48 kHz LPCM audio, record flags and time-code stay frame-locked.
The link spans 1 524 m / 5 000 ft line-of-sight with an optional Array antenna; the RP-SMA whips and three mushroom antennas supplied still blanket studios, backlots and OB vans. Broadcast Mode feeds unlimited Bolt 6 receivers, while Standard Mode supports six—ideal for director, focus puller and DIT monitors. Adaptive hopping, DFS legality and the phone-based spectrum analyser keep signals clean even at trade shows.
Connections: HDMI 1.4b, 3G-SDI I/O plus TX SDI loop with cross-conversion; formats up to 1080p60 on SDI and 4K30 on HDMI. A 17 × 17 × 17 3D-LUT processor enables on-set looks, and the SDI Eye-Pattern tool validates cable integrity. Security uses AES-256 with RSA-1024 key pairing; unique IDs stop crosstalk across adjacent sets.
